Steve Colby - Award-Winning Cinematographer in Atlanta
Steve Colby is an Atlanta, Georgia-based award-winning director and cinematographer who has close to three decades of experience. He is the director of Pogo Pictures, a company he founded in 1999. Under the leadership of Steve Colby, Pogo Pictures has grown into a leading full-service content provider in the Southeast.
Pogo Pictures has delivered projects for Fortune 100 companies and managed successful tourism campaigns across the United States. Mr. Colby has filmed in 47 US states and numerous countries across the globe, including Italy, Croatia, and Greece. In 2023, he filmed the Prima, Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship, as it sailed out of Miami to several ports of call across Mexico. He also shot stills and music videos for Natalia Hernandez Arias, a Dominican rising star. Mr. Colby also co-directed a Doritos Super Bowl commercial that earned a spot among the top 50 Super Bowl adverts of all time.
Mr. Colby takes part in community initiatives, serving as president and board member of The Bridge to Recovery, a non-profit organization helping individuals recover from childhood trauma. In addition, as a C.A.R.E board member, he designed a youth program to help young people from various backgrounds volunteer around the globe.
In his free time, Mr. Colby enjoys photography, sculpting, organic gardening, playing badminton, and raising Nigerian dwarf goats. He also plays the guitar, piano, violin, and ukulele.
